This exciting role will be responsible for supporting strategic programs of work within the Digital Strategy division in a business analyst capacity.  You will provide analysis and support to a series of sub-projects and the management of their inter-dependencies across the organisation.


Key Accountabilities: 

  • Develop requirements related documentation such as business / functional / system requirements specifications, business scenarios, use cases, process maps and requirements traceability matrix
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of assigned projects
  • Facilitate workshops with internal and external stakeholders from across government and industry to inform the identification and analysis of current and future state requirements
  • Understand current state problems with the ability to rapidly undertake analysis and provide advice and recommendations
  • Develop as-is / to-be maps and statements to define the future of digital health
  • Analyse and consolidate information to develop business cases that support the achievement of strategic objectives as required
  • Identify how changing business and future state requirements may be delivered with existing or augmented solutions
  • Ensures risks, issues, dependencies and constraints are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
  • Prepare / contribute to project artefacts and documentation
  • Assist in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules
  • Take input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately applies comments / feedback
  • Experience working with industry wide development methodologies
  • Good attention to detail and time management skills that allow you to work with flexibility yet manage priorities and meet deadlines


Past Experience: 

  • Experience in developing process flow diagrams, wireframes, user requirements, functional specifications, technical specifications, use cases and user documentation
  • Experience applying a variety of techniques to elicit business requirements (workshops, interviews, surveys)
  • Experience in system and process development methodology and project management methodologies
  • Experience writing project management documents (business cases, detailed requirement specifications, benefit analysis)
  • Experience working for a government organisation ideally within the health sector
